ok so this is going to be my first build from the ground up.

Here is my current clapped out peice of shit. no title

This is what is going to be used for the rebuild, i got it for a little less than a grand, it had damage to the right side case. clean title

GOt everything broken down and dropped off at powder

Here are the colors i chose for powder

THe Grey will be used for the frame, swing arm and subframe, and some other very small parts, the wheeles, cage, rearsets, and eveything else will be this orange

I have yet to decide how i am going to paint the fairings but am pretty sure i will be going full fairing or at least 3/4 for its going to be my street bike

should have everything back from powder by the end of next week

im also going to be using a gsxr 1000 front end on the bike

Oh yeah! Do it, buddy! Push out the bushing and have them tape the blade of the lever that slides into the perch. If something happens to your bushing...I'll ship ya a new one!

the paint came out great, exactly how i pictured it to be. their was a problem getting a hold of the original orange i had chosen, so had to go with a different one but like it just as much.

id like to paint the forks however am working on a budget and dont really have the money to redo the seals and everything.

Im still waiting on a few parts to come back from powder but will be getting everything back together this week and hopefully have it finished by friday at the latest, and will take some better pictures of the paint. the grey looks sick in the light but you cant tell from these pictues

That paint looks nice. Orange seems to be really popular these days. Just curious as to why you decided to do the headers only white?

I didnt wanna over do it on the grey and orange, if that makes any sense and thought the white might be a nice touch
