636 Top triple design.
#1
I think I'm about done with this. I wanted to make a top triple that would allow me to run the clipons on top without having to lower the front end. I also wanted to be able to use my speedometer for street riding, so I incorporated holes for a mounting bracket. Just two M6 allen bolts, and the connector and the console comes off. Only one small modification to the back of the console is required, I just need to trim the two lower locating studs. If all goes according to plan, I should be able to start cutting metal early next week!

What do you think?

Not much! I think I got a little carried away with the console model though

These parts will be machined out of a chunk of 6061. I might run a couple of extras if anyone is interested.

Cool design i would just beef up the area between the upper and lower portions. The bolt hole for the bracket will decrease the structural strength a bit
