How to input .mov to sony vegas pro?

\r\n \r\n i use sony vegas HD home edition (10 i think) and it doesnt do that? i have been having trouble actually uploading to youtube though... maybe try to just drag the files right into the trimmer, or maybe try to access the clip through the media selection on the vegas? hope u figure it out...\r\n

\r\n \r\n If you are taking the .MOV files right off the card into Vegas, try copying them onto your harddrive first, then bringing them into Vegas.

\nAre you on a Mac or PC?

\nIf you\'re on a PC, try converting to .WMV file and see if that will input into Vegas.

\nAlso I\'ve heard newer versions of Quicktime do funny stuff like that to video and editors like Vegas. Try downloading an older version of Quicktime and that might fix it also.

Hey, been trying to get a clip together from footage I shot during a MT session back in April. I've got Sony Vegas pro 9 and I was using a canon digital camera to shoot with. The files are on my memory card in .MOV format and when I try to input them there is no audio or video. Any know how yo get the .MOV inputed or converted to a different format? None of the free converters have worked.
