Ok so when my buddy accidented my bike it broke all the plastics up front. The headlight assembly is too wide to mount to the forks, not to mention it looks fucking retarded because it's huge. I've been looking around at different auto parts stores searching for lights that an H8/H11 bulb will fit in so I can use my HIDs, but to no avail. So, I was wondering, if I crack open my headlight assembly and remove what I assume is the projector housing, and somehow made a bracket and mounted those up, would it cause any issues? HIDs get REALLY hot, so if they get so hot and it rains, would it pop the glass on it? Pepboys says no, but I kinda feel like it might. If I can't figure something out in the next couple days I guess I'll just have to get some temp driving lights or something and mount up till I can find something to put my HIDs in.
