im makin the switch to clip ons from DBB's..my stock front brake master is an oem honda with the built in resivoir block which gets in the way of my full ferring..duh. I want to know what would be the best front brake..iheard the 19x20s are really good..but what would the difference in feel be considering the 16x18 for my handbrake is also a front brake. I put the 16x18 on to check for clearances and clears no problem so i think i'm going to buy another radial brembo..but what size?

19x18 or 16x18 are the only 2 choices I would make. 19x18 would have a harder feel at the lever. 16x18 would be a softer lever

Id run the 19x18

The 19x18 is great (it's what I run). I'd expect the 16x18 to be way too soft.

I run a 16mm Magura on mine. It took a while to get used to it for sure. But I like the 19x18 Brembo as well

I ran the 16mm back in the day - I think it feels similar to the 19x18 on the front.

The 16mm Magura feels a lot different than the Brembo 16x18.

that sounds like its what im needing, the 16 x18 for my handbrake is super soft now and it just wont stop me no matter how hard i pull it to the bar..might just use it for the frontbrake and maybe use a 19x18 for the handbrake? might be more twitchy is more what im lookin for..at least for a handbrake

I don't like brembos but sounds like something is wrong withy your handbrake... A good 16x18 should lock it up with one finger. Should probably look into that.

As far as the front brakes go, I'd listen to Rodney seeing as how he is an endo slayer.... I want a billet Magura 16 for my fronts just can't bring myself to spend the loot sincev the stock 08 one is slick.

It sounds like theres something wrong w your HB. The 19x18 would not be a great HB master with a single caliper unless it was 6pistons. What caliper do u run on the HB? The 16x18 should have zero problem locking that rear wheel up. Sounds more like a pad, rotor issue

bill d and i just talked about this ad nauseam last week...

i wish the 16*18 was the same for brembo vs. magura.

i think bill d runs a 16*16or18 on his front.

galfer sells this sweet accossato front master that is something like 19*16/17/18 or something.

19*18 is pretty standard i think...maybe someone knows how to get rid of the squeak in the front brakes? bill rod emy bike and said the brakes suck

19x18 :FTW definately for the snatch up on endos. Takes a little getting used to for burnout combos if your used to something smaller.
