\r\n \r\n In south africa u only need to register vehicles that travel on the road, or if u travel over a border with it(on a trailer/truck). I\'d guess it\'s the same around the world\r\n

Usually you only get an MSO when you buy a dirtbike. If you choose to go to dmv and register and title it for off road use and pay the taxes thats up to you.\r\n

\r\n \r\n I don\'t see why not. It has the vin and engine number on it. As long as your taking it out of impound with a truck so you don\'t need insurance and registration it shouldn\'t be.\r\n

Not in Maine. There are no titles for off road vehicles.\r\n

Bill of sale. That\'s all we have. It\'s basically a receipt. They don\'t have to be notarized in Maine like a lot of states.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Whenever you buy something from dealer or pivate party it is always good practice to get a bill of sale. Its basically just a reciept with your name the sellers name and the vin of the bike .\r\n
