Pinnacle Studio users

The MPEG-4 format that GoPro uses seems to be an issue with Studio 15HD when trying to edit. I have a good computer so thats not the issue, anyone have any suggestions for this? It seems to be a codec issue I think?

Another thing I worry about is - getting my 60fps clips into the studio directly because it seems if I were to render or change the original vid file in any way - it will just convert to 30fps which defeats the purpose of even recording in 60.

Should not be hitting the quality when you change the format. Did you go into the settings and make sure the quality meter is turned up?

Get yourself a better editing program.

Adobe, final cut, etc...
