about to finish paying off my 2004 ford expedition, worth anywhere from 10k-12k according to kbb.

so thats my budget, i'd prefer not to make any more payments, but am willing to for the perfect car.

any suggestions?

in order of priority: 25+ mpg highway, anything but fwd, 4 seats, and a manual/300whp would be nice.

maybe a modded wrx?

If you buy a wrx or sti have a leak down test done by dealer before you buy it. There great cars, not so much for modding. You can really beat the shit out of most these cars. I'm gonna be lifting my impreza and lsd swap.

The expo is gonna be a tough sell. I would get like a BMW 330xi with the sport package. Not gonna be the fastest thing but it will ride great.

Stay away from the camero's unless your a midget. My sisters got a 09 mustang and we just test drove the 2010 camero. Shes 5'8'' and her head would hit the headliner. Legroom for driver was really shitty. Gauges are all placed in the worst most impossible viewing area. Not to mention windows are tiny and its hard to see. My 6'3'' ass had to sit in the back and I dont think anyone taller then 5'3'' could sit there without hitting their head on the glass. The dealer who drove with us was like why the hell are you test driving a camero, these things SUCK, stick with the mustang.

Mustang is much nicer. Lots of legroom and headroom for anyone front or back seat. Much better layout. Much nicer looking imo. She got the pony package with it with lots of other options and a huge moon roof.

Granted im not much of an american made kind of car guy so I wouldnt have gone with either.
