wind turbine techs?

does anyone work out in the wind farms as a technician? if so whats it like? i have a week of school and 2 weeks of training left of my tech school to work up in the windmills and im freakin stoked!

congrats sounds like a tit job , i seen some in the mountains of virginia i think it was and those things were so deceiving ..

while i was driving up the mountain i kept thinking i was almost to them but they just kept getting bigger and bigger as i drove ...lol

thanks man! they are pretty tall, about 270-300 ft up there and the blades are about 90 ft. they are pretty ominous to be up close to for sure! i have yet to climb one but in a couple weeks ill get my chance.

man they looked bigger than 300 i was literally a little off balance just standing and looking up at one ..lol

I've always thought about how sick it would be working on those...and they are HUGE...I love driving thru the fields of them... I think we should be harnessing more wind power.
