\r\n \r\n Wow reminds me of a one year old I had weighed 100lb and was fine around other people but if I was near by would protect me. I would guess that the dog is sensing there is alot of stress in your house hold.\r\n

\r\n \r\n she has all her shots and is spayed. she is constantly around different people from my brothers girlfriends to members of my girlfriends family and she is fine around the people she has met and known now. But if anyone else comes around me or anyone else that she knows she will just bark like crazy.\r\n

\ni think its the most important thing to do do get em socialized to EVERYBODY not sure the ocational people that comeover.

\ni also take him to as many places that have other dogs n let him play with them as often as possible.

\ntry a command like NO.. and lay down then NO everytime he tries to bark.. that way he learns that this is not an acceptable thing to do.

\nalso..once he gets a lil more curious about the guests give them a treat to give him so maybe he will learn that they r not bad.

\r\n \r\n one of mine is funny like that when people come to the door, but when they come in he is fine and is all over them. and since i fenced in the back yard he has tried to bite a few people through the fence. even my neighbor who he knows very well. its the same way as the house, if i let anyone in the gate he\'s best friends. they are wierd sometimes, but great dogs i dont think ill ever have any other breed.\r\n

Mines the same goes crazy until he sees that the person is alright. Than no barking and is super friendly with them.\r\n
