I ended up just replacing the tranny cause a friend of mine had one sitting around but I think everyone should do the shift star kit, it's cheap and pretty easy to do unless you're mechanically challenged.

I may have to do the same.. Did you get a whole bottom end? or actually replace the gear sets? My motor runs fine... just slipping out of second the same way yours did in first it sounds like.
