636 swingarm conversion

ive seen it somewhere before but cant find it. i changed the swingarm on my 03 04 636 to the 05 06. i was recently doing some service to my wheel and set the spacers down next to the 03 04 and i cant remember if the 05 06 spacer on the brake side is the longer or shorter one? i have a hohey dual caliper 4 piston bracket on it and the longer one makes it a pain in the ass to put the wheel into the swingarm and the shorter one is causing the 4 piston to rub the rotor?!

any help would be great.

the one thats solid goes on the left side and the one thats grooved goes on the right side thats if ur sitting behind the tire

what kinda helps with that is if u take ur axle and flip it to the other side so that its easier to push it through the hohey bracket

its a bitch coming from the brakeside go through the sprocket first

i understand which one goes where but i got 4 spacers. 2 out of the 03 04 and 2 out of the 05 06. i need to know which is the correct pair for the 05 06. the shorter cush drive spacer and the longer brake spacer or vice versa?

the cush drive spacers are the same on both bikes they are thick solid spacers with no lip the brake side spacers are different they are smaller than the brake side and have a lip , if you use one thats too small it will allow the swing arm to flex in too much when you tighten the axle and it should be clear it's the wrong one , the right one should fit snug and not really allow the swing arm to flex in when you tighten the axle

i had both sets of them sitting next to each other. the cush drive ones are not the same nor are the other side. the cush drive spacers are a good 1/4 inch different. once i cleaned them up i noticed that they were distinctly 2 different colors, so i looked at johnnyp's original write up and he stated that the 05 06 are titanium colored where the 03 04 are more a bright silver. i threw in the titanium colored set and all seems to be well. thanks for the help though.

the 03 04 part #92152-1254, the 05 06 is 92152-0244. my ol lady works at a kawi dealer and said if they are not the same part number they are different in some way. so in fact the cush drive spacers are different just for everyones knowledge.

i understand. iwas just letting everyone know that all the spacers are different. yes the cush drives are the same but the spacers are not. thanks for the help omr!
