Anyone ever had charges pressed against them for a fight?

\r\n \r\n Remember, the burden of proof rests on them. Did you already admit to this? Do they have proof? If yes, I\'d take the deal theyre offering you. Or talk to the PA and ask if you can take Community Service and Probation, with it dropped to a Misdemeanor once youre finished serving both. Maybe if you talk with them as if youre willing to man up, they wont push jail time.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Thats why id rather look like a punk than get into a fight nowadays... As soon as someone gets their ass beat they wanna press charges. Hopefully they go easy on you... Like h2 said, if you show remorse and act mature they should go easy on you... You never know how these things are gonna go down in court without a lawyer though....i had a case a few years back that i didnt get a lawyer for and worked with my arresting officer with... He said if i went through this and that he would drop a few of the charges and on the day of court he told me he was going to drop all the charges because of me being so cooperative. when we went to the d.a. she refused to drop any charges and without a lawyer i was stuck, the judge dropped a charge for me after the officer being on my side but i still got screwed in the end.....hopefully it works out for you\r\n

\r\n \r\n lie lie lie until proven guilty! was you on probation for other charges you said you had and its revoking your probation? felony is a big deal so id do w.e just to not get that if they stay true to there word and knock it back down to a misdameaner, the court system is so fucked these days, but id kiss as much ass as you can if u aint able to get a lawyer, you can always play the card that there was 3 of them and u was by urself and you felt threatend, idk if thatd work though bc u hit him first but its always a try, i had to do sum weekends wen i was 17 and that shit sucks so jail def sucks ass but ya gotta do wut ya gotta do, best of luck man\r\n

\r\n \r\n I think I am gunna try an lie as much as possible. I was on probation during all this ya. I have some witnesses on my side also, and since theres no proof on who was actually there an witnessed it all, I could get some close friends to testify for me and bend the truth a little...like say I felt threatened and pushed the kid in the face causing the injuries. I think this will be my best route.\r\n
