Carry with 1 in the chamber?

is there any other way?? If and when your in a situation are you going to tell the guy that's going to shoot you "hold on I have to load my gun first"granted if you ever get taken down by a dumb ass cop that happen to see your weapon under your shirt and wanted to show you that you couldn't carry it even with a C.W.P like what happen to me. yeah that deff makes you really nervous when he grabs my gun especially when I have a 3 1/2 lb trigger and 10mil shock loads and yes it was loaded just like always but I would never carry a wepon with out it loaded

Always.... You're not gonna be able to say, "Time out, let me chamber a round before I shoot you...."

Depends on which gun I'm carrying, if it's the Glock 23, I usually don't keep one in the chamber, I figure if I have enough time to analyze the situation and respond by pulling my gun out, I have another second to rack it. The Beretta PX4, I keep one in the chamber because it has a safety. I just get all antsy because when I carry, it's always on a bike, I know Glock has all those safety precautions, but you never know..

I carry a xd40 sub compact as my ccw and its allways chambered. Trigger saftey and Grip saftey are the way to go wont shoot till you are ready to rock and roll. Plus its funny to watch the cop hand you back your gun clip and one bullet, must annoy the hell out of them.
