Always one in the pipe ready to go with the safety on .
I Love 1911's they just make you feel safe.. its nice to have so many safety's that are quickly disengaged . I am never worried about mishaps & she is always ready to put in work if I were to need her .

I always do. You are safe with a glock or sig or whatever. Most of these style no safety firearms have other features that will not allow it to discharge on accident.
Also, if you treat a firearm with respect and that it is a weapon(i.e. that it is chambered and ready to fire) You will never have a issue. I've been conceal carrying for the last ten years and never an issue. Only time I unload the gun is when travelling/in vehicle.

i dont have a license to carry yet (stupid class B misdemeanor) but in 2012 when i can get mine ill carry my glock hot. i feel pretty safe with it because i cant get to the trigger while its holstered. a lot of cops carry a clock because its safe while loaded and holstered and if they have to pull its ready to go. seconds could mean the difference, you never know (thats why your carrying in the first place right?)
