About to buy an '07 ZX-6R...OPINIONS?
#1
Think I found a good deal. Completely minty fresh, stock and not a scratch on it, green with M4 exhaust. New tires, clean, clear title. 12,000 miles, and I know the guy and know he babies that thing, just uses it for transportation. Gonna get it for $3800. Good deal...??
And I know there's a whole thread on the pros and cons of this bike as a stunt bike, but for you of those who stunt em, wouldn't mind any advice or opinions. Maybe weigh in on what cage works best for this bike. And also, is anything besides the obvious transferable from '05-'06's? Thanks in advance guys..

Turds on the low end. Frames crack worse than most other kawis, valve cover leaks on most of them. But just my opinion. If you really want a stunt bike buy a FF r6 or 636 or f4i something like that. Shit i'm sure a ninja 650 would stunt better than one of these.

I like mine. just reinforce the frames on the motormount. Do that first and no problems. Yeah there turds on bottom end but nothing a extra tooth on the front cant handle. Strong subframes (havnt had any problems and i pancake mine hard at times and I use pipe as a round bar) never had a valve cover problem though.

Reinforcing the frame is a must. Or fixing it after it cracks.... whatever just means your riding it.... not the end of the world.... yea lacking some low end but just gear it.... mine rides smooth and would agree the subframe and stock exhaust is the best set up for a round bar for any of the rear kawis... has a better tank design that 03/04s and epescially 05/06...

Better front end and brakes... than the other years...
And did you say it was green?!?
