applied for concealed carry permit

Went & did this yesterday finally! Costs $76 here now
Everything went well until I was being fingerprinted by a sheriff deputy. He was a fucking asshole. Told me to pull my pants up (i DONT sag my pants EVER) that we are in public & was just a smart ass in general. Almost lost my cool cause it was so uncalled for but didn't because nothing positive would come from it.

you should have told him that assholes like him are the reason you are getting you're permit

few people tell me that if you get a Florida Permit you can carry through almost any state...

anyone know if this is true?

wow! I'd expect that from a police officer... but a Sheriff's deputy? I wouldn't have necessarily made a scene, but I'd have scheduled an appointment to speak to the Sheriff. the Sheriff is an elected official that can be voted out of his/her position.

each state has different reciprocity with other states. Florida simply has the most widely accepted CCL.

I have a CHL and not telling you guys it gets u out of tickets but it sure helps when you get pulled over. The fuz seems to look at you in a little better light!

I tried to do this a little while ago.. apparrently I can't get one til 2014.. So my fiance is going to apply
