I think a 03/04 cable would work on a chopper its so long

would not work on my f4i, i had the adjuster by the clutch fully adjusted in and the slack on the end was still to much to work in the clutch perch. that was with a 04 636 cable

you could try a CB600F cable. I wanna say its a little longer cause that bike runs beach bars stock.

No, just flipped 636 clips. I moved my grips all the way out, slid the clutch down and then i couldn't go full lock to the left, it would pull my clutch. So i routed it in-between my forks, it worked but after a couple wrecks it smashed the cable

just go to your local dealer and ask for a longer cable with the same amount stickout out on each end. any helpful parts desk worker will hook ya up no problem

stock should work perfect, i run 12in bars in my clipons with stock cable on the outside of the fork with no biding issues. u sure its not catching on the rad cap when u turn your bars to the left?
