04 636 motor work. tips or tricks??

pulled my motor out for winter time maintence. I would like to do a rebuild on it so its almost brand new for the next season but looks like thats way over my budget. figure i'll clean it up and install a manual cct. anything you guys do or would like to do to your motor if you had the time and money.

Checking valve clearence maybe.... does it have any oil leaks? Kleen air mod?

already did the kleen air mod. and im sure it has an oil leak. main reason i pulled it out.

Fix that.... maybe your valve cover?!?!

Where's it look like its leaking from? Top of motor, bottom?

I started working on mine. got the motor pulled. waiting till after Jan 1st to get it over to Smithers Customs so Steve can work his magic on swapping cyl heads. I'm not confident I'd get it right the first time, and Smithers offered to hook it up. so, I'm leaving it to the pro's on this one.

yeah, it was a kick in the dick for sure. I'm so glad I didn't sell the f4i. if I put the 636 back on lot duty, I kinda want one of the bad ass steel frames for it.

Coming from the bottom around the front sprocket area
