05 r6 tank dents/sick subcage pics??

\r\n \r\n alright here is my hack job of a dent. Good thing I have another tank. First dent I have even done! These are also pics before sanding and paint. Don\'t have any pics of it done yet.\r\n

\r\n \r\n heres mine so far still have to cut out splash gaurd to get the gas cap flater have a cheap ebay gas cap on its way with si cage and hhd br kit !thinken on getting a si subcage love my 636 one and the solid pegs they have are the best for jumpen around on the bike anyone have any prob with the sides off the tail getting in the way ?\r\n

what is the splash guard and how do I cut it out? and what is the reason for doing so?\r\n

\r\n \r\n sprockets are a 56 and 15 tooth is one down in the front so +12 hopen i\'ll like it, splash guard keeps the gas from leak out of the tank its in the tank were the gas cap goes in if you cut it out u can get a deeper dent!\r\n
