so i order a new ignition switch and gas cap of ebay and now the fuel pump does not work..i should have taken it to a lock smith but too late now cuz i thought the keys have chips in them or something.. anyway i might have fried the ecu, cuz i let the two bigger wires connect?! did i burn the computer?
because now when i connect all 3 wires turn the key, i can not hear the fuel pump and the bike will not start but turns over and everything..
and how the fuck do i get the gas cap off? drilling?

All I can help you out with is the gas cap, yeah you can drill it until you drill out the tumblers but you dont want to go all the way through or you will get metal shavings in the tank.
I just went through this a month ago & Instead of drilling I just took a flat head & hammer. Hammer the flat head down in the key hole then turn, actually pretty simple. Then I took the key & cut it off & i use that to open the lock for now. Instead of having to carry a screwdriver around with you. Or you could just call a lock smith out & he might be able to make an impression & give you a new key.

Hey man. Im actually a locksmith out of ON. Ive been doing some work with bike ignitions and caps the past few months. Im not sure of your bike year, but I know the 2006 gsxr's and newer all have chipped keys. Your best bet find out if it is chipped or not by asking either the dealer or locksmith. Second if it is, get the key from the dealer, take the ignition and gas cap to your local locksmith and they will set you up. Key might be expensive but the work at the locksmith should run anywhere from 30-50 bucks.

You cant take the gas cap off unless its in the open position.

take the original ignition to the locksmith. 50 to 70 bucks and you have your original key

If those main wires touched it probably just popped the main fuse. Go through and check all of your fuses. Also, take your old igition and disassemble it, the base with all the contacts will come out the the key tumber section, then just rotate that to the on position and you'll see if its the ignition or not. you're just eliminating the lock part for a minute. if that works I say just put you new lockset on the good base

the problem is that you crossed the wires and you fried the zener diode in the ignition I had the same problem replace the bottom part of the ignition with the wires coming out of it and your golden its about 30-40 bucks if i remember correctly the zener diode acts as a diode and resister at the same time it only allows like 8.7 volts to go to the ecm any more or any less then the fuel pump wont turn on
