Just a thought from a girls perspective but you could always wash them. I wash all my gear like once a month. Keeps them looking and smelling all fresh.\r\n

Never really thought of washing my gear. It is all salty and sweaty and gets stiff. How do you wash it? In a machine or by hand?
\n
\nOr do you take it to the dry cleaners?\r\n

Yeah i keep meaning to pick up a pair of the sartso or shift pants but i haven\'t decided on which one yet. I was waiting for more reviews since they are both pretty pricey.

Haha, exactly! And for anyone looking for a good helmet/gear cleaner for all purposes this is what I use on mine and my b/f\'s nasty stuff! (ignore the directions because their for Equine helmets) Just coat it in foam let it sit and rinse well. Your gear will literally smell and feel like new. I do this a lot because I\'m a germ freak.

these are the ones i rock only thing i dislike about them is if you try wearing shorts the top flap that covers your knee doesnt have a strap so it pushes outside of your shorts and you gotta keep putting your shorts back over them\r\n

Those look nice! Im definitely gonna have to check those out. After reading this thread I feel better knowing I\'m not the only one who\'s had issues with the Icons flipping up around the knee or falling down (no matter how tight I make them) And I was wearing them on the outside of my jeans too! Wish I could just find something comfortable and not so bulky.

I use some Youth SIze Fox Knee pads, they are great for us petite ladies, they dont fall down they stay on ur knee for the mst part and fit comfortably under ur pants!
\nCYCLE GEAR has them!
\r\n \r\n

Is there a certain style or do they just make one kind? The Cycle Gear here in Austin never has much of a selection for us little people, lol.\r\n

Which ones did you try?
\r\n
\r\nThe Dainese do look nice like they\'d stay where you\'d put them, and those thor guards look pretty decent too. Anyone know of some guards/knee braces or tried them? I heard they slide or pull on and stay put but yet support your knee really well. I\'ve just got the giant Icons that fall down all the time. But maybe their too big for chicken legs, lol. Several of the guys around here do just fine with them jumping around and never complain. Guess were all just made different. Too bad they haven\'t made a guard that conforms to your shin and knee yet so it wouldn\'t slide or move around so much.\r\n

Which ones are you wearing and which do you like best? I have the SixSixOne veggie shin guards but they don't help my knees when i face plant into the concrete. Any suggestions?
