\n7MGTE parts are easy to find and swap over.

\nmakes decent power without a whole lot of work/money

\ndoesnt bolt up, will have to make custom parts
\ndrive shaft will have to be custom made
\nnot a motor available in america so parts are kinda expensive and hard to find
\nonly makes a few more horsepower than a stock 7mge and alot less torque
\nunreliable, will break down constantly and adding horsepower makes this problem worse.

yeah they are a pretty penny for sure. but why not sell the sr and build the 7mge, it wouldnt take much to make it nasty powerful and a 5 speed is a easy cheap find from a junk yard. just the custom drive shaft for the sr is gunna be expensive. i guess i just think whats the easiest way to make more power with what you already have. i dont have money either and if i was gunna do it id go 7m all the way.
