Wow... think this got out of hand and misunderstood. I am a soldier and I simply said I dont like the statement "support the troops but not the war." I personally dont like this statement because it makes soldiers think that the job they are doing is worthless or wrong. Which in turn leads to low moral and causes problems. I rather hear someone say what I am doing is worth doing and it is making a difference.

Ok, now Im dome with this thread.

I only spent about 4 1/2 months in Iraq in 09, and was also lucky enough to come home uninjured. Thanks for the support guys, just like Paul said... It really means a lot to us. Prayers for a speedy recovery for SSG Clark.

One of my buddies lost his leg in iraq. We got his bike rigged up now & he is riding again and loving life. Let me know as I can get my friends number if your friend wants advice or support from a fellow injured soldier.
