You can\'t tell me that if a barely fertile 14-year-old girl gets raped, she CAN\'T abort the abomination of an offspring that she could pop out. But at the same time, you gotta rememeber your momma was pro life! I also think it\'s funny when they call it pro choice, because the potential human being that\'s brewing in your oven didn\'t get too much of a say in the matter. Contradictory subject O.o\r\n

\nWith the titile of the thread, I\'d like to clarify my stance. And its crazy that I had this same conversation on another forum tonight. Heres where I stand.

\nIm not arguing that abortion is right or wrong....but being pro-life/pro-choice is a social issue, regardless of how that sits with someone. The moral character of a person would determine whether THEY would have an abortion or not....not whether or not they agree with the choice being a womans own. And that is the discussion here right? Pro-choice, Pro-life?

\nI personally cannot imagine having an abortion at this moment in my life. But Im glad the legal, safe, option is available for those who may be faced with the decision, whatever their case may be. This is what makes me Pro-choice.\r\n

It\'s not always about the kid... it\'s about the mother as well.

\nExample: Just imagine if your sister (if you have one, if not it\'s just a hypothetical then) was brutally raped and from that rape she became pregnant. In this situation it has NOTHING to do with the embryo/fetus/little person/or whatever you want to call it, and under Pro-Lifers rules the mother (your sister) could suffer from about a 1000 different psychological disabilities afterwords including (but not limited to): paranoia, skitzophrenia, extreme depression, etc.

\nNot to mention, for the safety of the baby, you realize that when you are not preparing for a baby through proper nutrition, vitamins, hydration, etc you increase the chance of having a baby with a birth defect.

\nAgain, I\'m right in the middle... technically I would say I have a bipartisan agreement between Lifers and Choice, but if you are hardcore either one then you are too oblivious to common sense and need a wake up call.\r\n

So I have a friend who started doing massage therapy and last night she was giving me a massage and we somehow got on the Pro-Choice/Pro-Life topic. Well she is hardcore religious but I however am not, she is Pro-Life and I am Pro-Choice.... after talking about it for about 10 minutes we both saw each others point of views and ended up meeting in the middle. I liked what she had to say and she liked what I had to say, so I'm just curious what other people have as an opinion.

I'll state mine, I just want to hear yours first.
