I obviously cant speak for all the troops out their, but I always hated this statement. We are over seas doing a job that most people over their dont want to do. If you dont support what I'm doing, then how can you really support me? Makes me feel like I've been cought up in the middle of something, someplace I dont belong. When in fact, I see first hand what we are doing and I know we need to be there. So take a stand, be for it, or against it. just like you dont understand that statement i cant understand how you cant understand that people dont want you there, they want you to be safe at home. i have a few military friends that have done duty over there that get hot about people saying that. if they held a vote to go to war in iraq and you voted to go, i would be against what you are doing. but right now you are just doing the same thing i get up every morning and do... your job. i truly wish your job didnt put you in harms way.

i do support what every soldier does. My father put in 25 years for it and I still supported it when i was a kid and didnt know if my dad was comin home. Dont gotta preach to me.

The statement was simply for people who (every time a thread like this comes up) have to come in and bash troops for being there. And hate/blame the guys who are taking orders for our governments decisions.

who would hate the troops? they just do as they are told. for them its do what your told or go to jail... no real choice

Im not hater, I just dont like hearing that statement. I guess its just me and my every guy I worked with...
