\r\n \r\n Sick shit in this thread!! As soon as I get some cash to finance a new truck, I am going to take my 03 ranger and do it up old school rat rod style....
\n
\nIm gonna body drop it, bag it, paint it up flat black with babyblue (old school) pin stripes, and some big ass white walls with the big cap wheels..... I think it would be pretty dope \r\n

Most of you have seen my car from other forums, here is a summary at sr.
I got the car roughly a year ago and cannot not drive this car when weather (and mechanics) permit! Its a base 66 500, orig a 289 car the previous owner stuffed a 390/c6 out of a t-bird in it. Now I have a 428 cj motor/c6, the 8" diff has been replaced with a 9" & torq-loc 3.50 diff. The car is in body & paint now and will be Wimbledon white like the rare 66/67 427 'lanes.

it sat in a field north of Denver for about a decade, luckly this toothless hillbilly left the windows down! We also had to evict a family of racoons from the trunk(sorry again)

Out with the old 390 in with the CJ!

Swapped the stock diff for the much stronger 9" and also re-fit rear susp with poly bushings

The exterior was pretty decent until I had some bad luck with broken studs on the left rear wheel. O well in about 3 weeks she'll be back and CLEeeeeeeeAN!

So there's a quick summary of the ole 'lane! Pix up later next week of progressing bodywork/paint!
