Fuck an orange one and fuck all the others.
We need to come up with a standard scheme thats better than the current ones. They aren't THAT bad, but they look like a forum thats run by 12 year old nerds lol

I know you don't want to hear it.. but from a web design sense.. Stuntlife LOOKS much more professional than this site. This one looks like some young kids with some ok computer skills threw it together.
No offense.. Just trying to get it to look real nice

Stuntlife's logo is whack.
The logo here is cool, but the camo is too bright. The gradients here are nice. The background needs to contrast more with the content. All gray with one single, high-contrast color is whack. I say try darkening the background, get rid of the red text (make it white) and perhaps try using some dark reds in the gradients to accent the look instead. Also, at most only allow people to change between a light/dark color combo, but don't offer 4343637 color combinations.

how, explain it??
I look at the top banner on stuntlife... its some ghetto photoshop and its still got the wannabe background flames behind it because its not designed to be fluid for larger resolutions... theres no nice buttons in the forum directory, its all text and its got all of the standard VB icons.. and the ad placement is weak with the non standard sized banners across the top the only cool thing is the buttons that inside the threads for replies etc im not hating or arguing.. just want to get your exact explanation on why it looks like shit.. the only exact thing people have said is they wish the text was whit.. ok I can change it from the light gray to white.. no biggie

Make the red text white, leave the normal text light gray. Then darken the background a bit, and perhaps experiment with using colors in the gradients to add accents. Also, the camo is really bright and grabs way too much attention.

The red has to go for sure. I'd definitely try a darker background and go from there.
The black/red is very 12year old nerd | |
