400EX

A guy wants to trade his '02 400EX for my '00 ZX6R streetfighter...would it be a good trade? And what does everyone think of the 400EX. I have just started playing in the dirt with a buddy's CRF150, and this would be the first actual quad for me to own.

I would like to hear everyone's honest thoughts...

400ex is a nice ass quad but tradin ur bike for it i dont know about all that its really up to u if u really feel comfortable wit tradin ur bike for it i would say really sit and think about it

400 EX they are good. If I was to get a quad I would go with the RAptor or TRX 450 for the power in the sand or mud as you could call it out there.

Hell, I forgot about this thread. Turns out, the guy that wanted to trade the EX for my bike didn't actually own it, so of course that didn't pan out.

yep...but I am getting to the point where I might just try to get it legal myself...

Seems the people who are real interested in it don't have money, live too far away, or just want to trade stuff...and some of them don't even have the stuff they want to trade. Go figure, huh?

All the way on the other coast, in Norfolk, VA...

Still would like to get $2500 since bluebook is around $3500, but cash talks. Might take a partial trade for a dirtbike or quad, preferable 4 stroke variety.
