I scored on the uber genius level of the asvab, took and NUKE option and decided that I'd rather work on planes. I'm happier now than I would be even though I don't make near the money I could be.

Kelm, goodbye US, Hello IRAQ

I scored a 93 when I joined the Army.  They said I needed a 65 to guarantee my MOS choice- otherwise you are stuck with what they show you.  If you don't see what you want, you can always just go home and see if it opens up later.  Don't let them pressure you into a job you don't want.  A friend of mine settled to be a truck driver and ended up driving supplies in Somalia getting shot at.  Getting shot at is expected for the infantry, but the support units are full of people just there for the college $ and tend to freak out.
