Damn, glad I kept reading. I was just about to make an arm and weld it solid for a cleaner look. Guess I'll just have to live with a couple ugly bolt heads.

I did this mod the other day with my rsc easy pull its like butter. I did about a half inch. It was a pain in the ass with the cover still on the bike. Hard to tighten the bolts and. But after a hour or two I had the bike back together and it was awesome !!! Smoother clutch ups and so easy to pull with one finger. Im waiting to get a magura 13mm so I can arrange my levers better then im going to practice circles

hmmmmm I really want to do this.... but the consensus is that longer piece must be bolted on, not welded while motor is in the bike?

Take the damn clutch cover off while you're doing the next oil change. Get some HondaBond or similar gasket maker. Make the mod. Put cover on and wait to fill oil for a few hours. Suoer easy, cheap, and well worth the time.

yup easiest way. you can do it on the bike though. i cut as much as i could off another arm and bolted it on front side then welded on cut side. so it can be done, but taking the cover off is the easy way no doubt. hell he doesn't even have to drain the oil. just lay the bike down.
