Been a while, sorry for slacking.


Here's some updates

So after 3 complete attempts at the re-clear, I finally got it!!

Today's fun is the central nervous system....

Visited a friend that runs an upholstery shop and he gave me some leather drops to play with.

Got my gauges in for the first time in 3 years.



Hard to tell from this angle but it looks real good. I have some small spec of something under the leather by the boost gauge, but it's not visible unless you have 90 degree side light.

Today's project... Headlights.

I finished up the wiring in both buckets and got the quick disconnect plugs done for the front bumper.




I wanted to try out Yellow lenses but wasn't sure the route to go. I decided on the Lamin-X film which is 100% reversible.






I detailed the lens, then used a prep solvent to get all the wax off.

Tail lights are completely refurbished





I am not digging the final look with red lenses, so I tinted one. I think I like it much better but I might spray it with satin clear to tone it down a bit.

Worked on the front markers today.

Here is a look at what the wiring was like that I got from the parts previous owner.

Their work on the left and updated, cleaned up work on the right.



Passenger side is complete and I am happy with the look so far.





I am hoping to get the front bumper wrapped up and with a little luck, mounted for the final time tomorrow....

Ok, this weekend I am tackling the single wiper.



First part was wiring. I can get high, low but can't figure out how to "park" they wipers yet.




Then a little hack and slash to get the parts and pieces in the right location.




And the test product. Once it's in the car and mounted I will final weld and powdercoat.

Worked on the headliner today.

Seeing a there is now ay the factory style would fin in with the cage I decided to make my own.

Moisture resistant headliner cardboard.




thermal backed to keep some of the radiant heat down...(car will have no AC)



Foam backed suede headliner material going on....



Done for the night, I will finish it up and hopefully get the windshield in for the final time tomorrow.

finished up the back of the car today and ran into an issue with the 993 seals.
