I did 5 ss circles yesterday. Only took me 5-6 months to learn. I'm starting to try fb circles now. Did 2 rotations last week.
I hate circles. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with them.
Sigh...................

its all confidence guys, gotta learn to trust yourself to put the bike wherever you want it to go. Not looking where you wanna go is a big problem for most guys learning and getting scared to blip throttle when there mid circle.

Took me longer than a month! Heck I'm still learning!
You need to try and push yourself just a little bit each time. Don't try too hard or you wont make progress or probably break stuff. Just try to keep it going for a split second longer each time. When you get that "oh shit time to bail!" feeling then hang on for just a bit longer. This is the part where no instruction will help that much, you just have to FEEL it over and over until it is natural.

SS stall caused me to flip and hurt my wrist bad, so I switched to learn staggered circle and have been stuck in quarter circle for couple weeks. Lots of new feeling came up every practice, need to keep practicing to get them natural, vision, gas, brake, weight point, counter steer...etc.
Staggered is really difficult but safe for me.

I have a bad habit of leaning into the circle rather than dipping the bars and blipping the bars back up to me. Sigh.................

you can lean but you need full confidence to hit the throttle to not just fall over, i lean into circles a lot of times but you gottas look where ya wanna go and gas it into it until you straighten out in the right position, i do this when my space is limited just rip up and lean her right in.

That's true. It's definitely a more aggressive operation when space is limited or you're doing small circles. I never went through the whole recon phase because I didn't have space to do it, I just went straight to the size of circles you see in the video. I think that's a good way to learn because it teaches you to actually control the bike instead of just using foot pressure and be along for the ride in a huge turn. Then once you get the control for really high, tight circles it is easier to get on the gas and start making them bigger and lower. That's a rush right there let me tell ya!
