Does raising the front end of a bike lower the balance point for endos?

No it will make the balance point higher . Lowering the front end will make it lower

why though? seems to me that if you raise the front end, the front wheel would be further back when rolling, making the balance point lower

It raises the center of gravity, so its seemingly closer to balance point right from the start, BUT having 'longer' forks moves the balance point up at the same time. So it almost cancels out, not completely. Now raising the rear suspension, on the other hand, makes a huge difference.

To give a better description of what happens. Lowering the front end brings the wheels closer together the closer together they are the higher the balance point will be. For an experiment try balancing a broom stick by staring only at your hand. Then try it again but look at the other end of the stick. It will balance better the further you look up the stick. Same basic principle. If your forks were 10ft long the balance point would be substantially lower.

I can see how raising the front end would raise the COG slightly, but the way I see it, having 'longer' forks would put the COG over the front axle at a lower tail height.

Explain to me how raising the rear suspension makes a huge difference. I imagine it would be closer to bp from the start, but once the rear is off the ground, the only difference would be that the rear axle would be down and further back making the bp maybe slightly higher.

Won't lowering your forks make initiating stoppies easier? Less compression during pop up? That was what I experienced.
