got this 06 gsxr 600 and an 06 r6v couple weeks ago for a pretty nice package deal for the 2. havent started on the r6 yet, its gonna be a track bike. but im almost done with the gixxer so figured id post up get some feedback.

then got the parts i needed. motor was bad, it sat open with no stator cover outside so green sludge came out of it so got a new one. only things i didnt get out of this pic are frame, wheels and black fairings in the corner, brought the rest back to get to work quick, i want to ride this thing.

old engine out and going for a cleaning

new one ready to go in

little bit of this little bit of that.

had a bit of trouble getting it to run, it was throwing like 13 different codes, turned out to be bad computer, replaced it then it was throwing 2 codes, tip over and the servo, bypass bypass and boom. this is how its sitting

got this sweet fuel cap for free. found some tank trim pieces that i put on, cleans it up nice. switched the lowered kickstand to a stock one and rewired the switch cause it was fucked. bled rear brakes. front master is giving me a lot of trouble, first the resi nipple is broke so i take a part another gixxer master with a broken pump to use that nipple, pain the ass circlip, anyways get that swapped, the resi was so brittle it snapped the mount, thank god for being a part hoard. then the fucker now wont bleed, its clogged completley like nothing is going through, i didnt feel like fucking with it no more today but i think the nipple on the resi side might be caked shut so ill take it off tomorrow and see whats what.
