There is no way to clean those bushings... The coating comes off the inside of one of them when you pull the forks apart... And invest in a seal driver they are like $40 and work on all the Kawis 03-08

Can any of you guys tell me which adjusters are for the compression, rebound, and preload on the 07/08zx6r forks? Ive been trying to adjust my forks and am not sure which knob/screw does what. I thought the top small screw was compression, the 19mm adjuster on top was the preload, and the small screw on the bottom of the fork was rebound, but I hate guessing and cant find it on the web without having to download a bunch of stuff. Sorry for thread jacking, I figured if your doing a tutorial you would know the answer.

I belive you have it correct... I know the big part on top is preload... If I remember to check ill double check my Manuel when I get home...

I'm def confused, I was on another kawi forum and they had the rebound on top and the compression on bottom. Id appreciate any help.

Compression and pre load is always on the top. Rebounds is on the bottom. ...
