Sitdown circle tips?
#11
Am learning the same things. I've gotten max 3 rotations with my ass against the tailsaver, cause i wanna learn nohanded sitdowns. Hardest part for me is to get the speed down. I dip in and the first circle picks up so much speed that if i dont pull in the clutch am gonna highside to another state. I dip in, give it gas and bring the front higher so i can brake more. Get some vids of yours and if someone has their vids, post em up. Let make this into a decent progress thread

I have one vid, not the best but you see what happens. Any pointers?

I'll try hanging on the to bars, maybe that will ease it up a bit.
sorry for the threadjack, hope its ok?

mart, that's exactly what I'm trying to learn, and it looks almost exactly like what is happening to me!

definitely hold yourself tight to the tank. you have to be very good with brake and throttle control there is no room for sloppyness with a sitdown circle. on that not please text me i have a question for you 817-721-5838

would it be better to try to lurn the asstotailsaver technique first? because once you know how to do both, it's with the ass on the tailsaver that you'll be abble to do all the no handed tricks and the balltothetank technique wont be necesseray since you can do it with the other, allready lerned thechnique. am i wrong ?

I always sit up the front towards the tank with my sitdown o's. Im no good at idle so i just gas it all the time lol.
When the bike wants to highside you've got to get on the throttle IMO. This will spin the bike around spiraling upwards till your beyond bp (tall as). Thats when you clutch it/brake hard/stall the bike like a deathspin. Wait till the front end drops then start the circle again.
Ask me to do any other circle and Ill fail miserably
Hope this makes sense lol

Good vid and good advice! I'll try this nuts against tank thing. I broke my rad so its horrible to do sitdown stuff when coolant is burning on the headers lol

No you don't have near the control of the bike the way you do if you are on the tank. I have watched people over and over try it will ass on tail saver and never get it. I tell them 1000 times to try it the other but of course I'm wrong as soon as they finally try it the other way they normally get it immediately
