I run the non irridium stock preferred plug, i cant remember if its the 9 or 10, its the same one they talked about on stuntbums "setting up a r6 article". The gsxr coil packs are longer than r6 stockers. I got the idea from Johnny Bravo a while back, the definatley work. I was running too rich and carbon fouling plugs, i could pull the plug and rub carbon off of it, so I had to adjust the CO2 settings per quadrant to match my 1st gen headers and R6r stock exhaust. You can do this through the speedo very easily.

I remember putting the gsxr coils in with new plugs and spending a couple hours at the spot riding and adjusting these settings until I finally got my bike running really well and the best of any settings I tried. This was 2 summers ago and it still runs as good as when I set it, same plugs, coils and everything. I went through 5 sets of plugs in a year on the stock coils before that.

R6 is a pain to get running really well sometimes, but the upside is its a very tuneable bike in stock form. With Tps and co2 adjustability, once you get those tuned to match your exhaust set up, and coils, and rectifier issue worked out you will have a very good running bike, that you wont have to mess with anymore unless u change exhaust set-ups

Eddies was an 09 R6S and he had R6V full front end and it rubbed also.

The difference should in the triples though not the frame neck

It is, frames wouldnt be any different, the 03/04 and 06-09r6s has 24 for rake, 05 is 24.5 so really not sure one couldnt run the R6V forks and not have them rub if there same rake as the R6S triples. But from what everyone says use the 05 triples and you can use any forks you want.

Yeah i feel ya. I really want to use r6v triples for the tighter rake. Does the wheel rub the actual rad or just the rad cage? Im also wondering if the r6v triples make for a even more narrow turning radius than the crappy radius it already has with 05 triples

more on teh adjustments with the TPS and CO2..... never heard of this but im currently running stock filter and airbox stuffed with wires and a newer r6 can for the muffler

I've never heard of a CO2 adjustment either.
