Sup everyone,
For starters ik the RR isn't your ideal bike for the lot but its been done right!? I'll post progress of how I build my bike up for the lot and how I destroy it learning... stay posted and feel free to chime in..
I bought my 06 cbr600rr for $4200 with 12k on it 2 hour later a noob rear ended my bike while I was stopped he was doing a 30-35 roll blasted the bike from under me left it with cracked plastic he agreed to buy me new plastic and she became good looking again to be continued.....

So I have a friend who rode a 03 CBR 600rr gave the lot a try barely set up ( 12 bar ,cage and -1 +4 sprockets. He looped it and put his bike on craiglist the next day. Hit him up for his 12 bar and cage bought both for a lil under $300 when I went to install the 12 bar found out they switched subframe designs between 03-04 and 05-06.he refunded the money for the 12 bar. I resprayed the cage and installed it

get rid of that SI cage; they are junk for the rr

Oh I was told they are the only one sturdy enough to take hard drops compared to others only thing that sucked was the the lower puck allow it to tip onto top end easily !? What cage would you reccomend and why?

I had the SI, and with one pancake the spacer broke and right side mountkinda dislodged itself. The cage itself wasn't straight to begin with (it was brand new), so when everything was tightened down, there was a lot of tension in it; which is why I think it did that. hats more, its a total shin basher. I LOVE my Freestyle Ingenuity cage on the rr. ive gone down extremely hard on this bike with no issues. Bent the right side engine bolt once, but they are cheap to replace, and id rather bend a bolt than break a frame.

I know a lot of ppl use Impaktech, but they are a tad bulky for my taste

I agree man I actually used a different spacer that that one they gave me it took some of the linkage out of the cage. Did you run a through bolt with a nut on the back side aswell? And I heard if any cage isn't snug on all points it'll break shit a lot easier!? I'll check out the FI cage for sure! Any other good tips ?
