Terrible Day at the lot

So, I just moved from st. louis mo to kirksville mo. Small town, not alot of bikers, hard to find a lot yadda yadda. Found a great lot, hit it yesterday, hit it today. 5 min. today my took a very hard pancake to really test my homemade cage. No biggie, cage held up for the most part. all is good right? no. 5 min. later dude rolls in on a harley and I stop and shut the bike off to hear what he wants to say. He keeps his running and yells, "what are you doing?" me: "practicing" "you cant do that here, its private property" (for sale and vacant for years) "Oh, sorry, who do we need to contact to get permission?" "Me and I'm not giving it" KICKED OUT OF THE ONLY DECENT LOT IN THIS TOWN OF 17,000 when colege is in session, BY A BIKER!!!

If the property is vacant and for sale I doubt you ran into the property owner. 99% of the time these propertys are owned by real estate firms or big commercial property companies. I bet you got pissed off home owner who heard the noise and bs you into leaving

+1. that guy didn't own shit. ida told him to got on his hog and ride the fuck out. then started my bike and continued doing wheelies so he wouldn't have a chance to argue. unless he was a hells angel or something. lol

Thats exactly what my buddy said. He's lived here or small surrounding towns his whole life. He's going to find the real owner and get in touch. My guess is old boy was riding by and saw a wheelie so he got jealous cause he aint got a sport bike, and he aint got Jason Pullen skills! Its such a good place cause its all industrial and farm land. No, residential for a few miles.

EDIT: Ive never known a hell's angel in northeast MO to pretend to own an old medical companies building haha. Nor have I seen one wear a DOT approved helmet. Dude musta thought he was a ninja turtle in a half shell.

yup. he would have opened with the fact he was the property owner. instead of saying 'private property' he would have said 'my property'. you realize how much commercial alnd like that costs? let alone the actually building. if it was a realtor then they would have something.

yup. he wouldnt have called the cops because then he couldnt really say (honestly) he owned it. even if he did the cops might have been cool with it. cops only really care if the place is being used.

I wouldnt contact anyone; that just puts you on the radar and creates the opportunity for them to kick you out; instead of simply not knowing about it. dont leave burnout marks or trash and youre fine.

Well, we haven't contacted the owner yet. But we called city hall to see who pays taxes on the property and they said its some japanese company like Yu Mang Wing or something. And apparently the building is still in business. I guess every time either of us have ever passed the place its been after hours. Makes sense though since our hours are 9-6 6 days a week. I think we're going to find out who's managing the place and decide from there if we should ask or just ride till the cops show. I think we have a good chance of my buddy actually knowing the dude running it. He seems to know damn near everybody in this town.
