So I was out at the beach in a area I dont know very well and got cought in a wheelie by a cop. Due to where I was and I didnt see him till I was stopped at a light <im sure he had my tag> I didnt run this time. Whats the best way to handle a wreckless driving wheelie ticket in VA

depending on your current lisc ( points and what not) u can lawyer up to try and get it dropped to careless which is less of a hit. or u can ride it out and take a bigger hit points, money and possibly suspension wise

If he didn't A have my tag or B I knew where I was I wouldn't have stopped first time I have ever stopped. I thought since I was cool with him he may let me go or give me a dumb ticket.... nope wreckless driving. Learned my lesson about stopping for the 50

officers discretion whether they want to impound your bike or not

1st offense - $1,000 fine
2nd offense - $2,500 fine (and i think a 1 year license suspension too)
3rd offense - $5,000 fine along with a 10-year license revocation
