His Stock kawi rear caliper mounting bracket looks like its a little tweaked. I took it off and could see where the rotor bolt is hitting the stock mount bracket and it was wearing a groove into it. It was deep but you could deffinetly see it where it was hitting. Rottating the wheel you could see a small gap form now n then when the rotor turned in the pads, making me believe the rotor is a little warped causing that hard spot when spinning the rear wheel. Would be better off buying a know to be good/undamged stock mount bracket and ill put it on and if it still hits ill get it machined down to fit. Some brackets need to be trimmed now n then. Tim had to grind his DCB from FTinc down a little becuase where the caliper mounted wore a groove right into the rear wheel and it was mounted exactly to the instructions.
I was in his bike all over the place, i couldnt find a single thing wrong with it, bike was running like a raped ape. Im willing to bet that its the caliper rubbing on the rotor, causing it to drag and make the bike feel boggy and then when the throttle hits he gets all the power. And itll only get worse the more it drags causing it to heat up and expand.
