03 636 REAL twitchy...
#1
So I figured I would ask around a bit more and see if maybe anyone else give me some input... My bike when I clutch up and get to idle or burp the throttle even just a little bit in a wheelie the bike jumps and just feels like it has so much power. Let a buddy ride and it and I rode his and it was like two different animals. We have the exact same set up. down 1 in front and 54 in back. His bike was smooooooth and my bike is real jerky/twitchy. Now when I say twitchy I don't mean like it has a problem I mean like the motor is super strong?!?! Could I just have a really strong motor or could it be something else... Bissi feel free to chime in and tell others what you thought.

I was wondering about this too. I have a stock front and 64 rear sprockets, with fresh valve adjustment and throttle body sync on my f4i. A friend just setup a clean non abused f4i with -3 in the front (yes -3) and 66 in the rear and he says my bike is way too twitchy which I obviously noticed too especially after the throttle body sync.

it was my bike he is comparing his to... i run piolot powers 2ct and he has a d616. i think i run like 30psi in my rear. i have a powercommander on my bike but i believe it is just stock map maybe map with aftermarket airfilter but nothing crazy... now something we talked about is exhaust, he has some fmf thing and i run a stock exhaust with alsot everything a stock exhaust has just smaller so im thinking maybe back pressure could be some of it ?
