Set on a wr250 now, and budget has increased to 3500. my buddy has a wr426 and has no problems in the lot, but his is lot nly. This the closest thing to a wr250 that I've found. http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=256371 I bought this from EK for $1800. No time to mess with it... The inspection is done, all paperwork in hand (fucking DMV idiots) You just need to take it all down and file for BONDED title for street use (have org dirt title in hand) Since I bought it I added/modded the following with a lot of help from Unifiddy and Magic Man. Fork Seals and oil. Voltage Reg. Trail Tech.. speedo and water temp are wired. just need to wire the Tach. Brake light. Horn. Headlight. and a few other things that escape my beer fueled rage! Has spare brake pads NIB Warp 9 wheels dirt wheels w brand new tire on rear. have dirt plastic too. The reason for selling is, I'm moving soon and haven't messed with it in the passed few weeks. and to be honest it is 3rd in line behind my two GSXR track bikes that need a lot of attention right now.. and I'm planning on moving soon. Just trying to get out roughly what I have in it! 2001 wr426f. how do these compare to the wr250x? same thing but bigger motor and different gearing? and carb'd?

the 2001 wr426f will wheelie just fine, but it will throw oil out the breather tube if you ride a 12oclock wheelie too long, so you must run the breather tube up around the front of the frame where the handlebars are, then back down the bike, so that the oil cannot push it's way up and out the tube. it has a wide ratio transmission, not as wide as the wr250x, but much wider than any crf450r or 250r, and I believe wider than the drz as well, which is good.

I've been looking at the Honda CRF250L as a spare if the F4i takes a dump. Seems to be pretty similar to the WR, but it's far cheaper and I still refuse to believe anything is more reliable than a Honda single. I know there new for 2013, but has anybody seen or heard of someone stunting one yet?
