I'm leaning towards a drz400sm just because i can't find any wr250's!!!!

From all i've read, I really want a wr250 ((((

What's a good price for both? I know what an f4i/636 is worth with or without parts.

what should i be paying for a wr250?

My 250x is for sale, I would consider meeting in the middle if you covered gas.

Haha mountain bike with a nice motor that's pretty accurate mines so light like a feather I can just toss it around and my original motor with 14k miles is still a strait ripper machine it's so much fun it should be illegal. The 250R is pretty much a X with dirt wheels correct? Still FI?

3gs$-5gs$ depending on the mileage and add ons and condition obviously.

And I think it's funny how dude comes on here asking what's the best sumo for lots/commuting and people suggest KTMs.... He didn't say "what's the fastest most powerful beast that I can go enter supermoto races on"fuck the guy wants to wheelie stoppie circle and drive over people's lawns and wake up babies on the way to work everyday.

Yep....same bike, just different wheels/front rotor. Yes, it's FI. They stopped producing the X model a couple years ago. I plan to just get SM wheels for mine eventually. The stock street knobs are pretty amazing, themselves. You can damn near scrape peg w/ 'em!

A KTM exc (xcw or whatever you are calling them) would be great for stunting and just playing around town but maintenance sucks for commuting to work.. KTM lc4 (620/625/640/660 or 690) has less maintenance so great for commuting, messing around town and should be pretty decent in the lot..

Rock what you got or want, hell i'm on a dr600, basicly an way old dr650, and I can commut and take it to the lot. -1, +8 gearing sucks for riding long at freeways but nice for lots, -1 and stock rear nice for freeways and you can still circle it..

that's hella cheap AJ whether you snatch some parts off it or not. I put mine up forsale and had a dozen people in a day willing to throw 5g at me. I decided to keep it and it seems funner now knowing so many other people wanted it lol. Im guna get another bike this year but hanging on to my little X. Such a pain in the ass to find one I don't wana regret letting it go

Good Sumo for commuting and lot riding?

though a weaker engine than a 450, the wr250x is the winner in my book for the combination of commuting and lot riding, for a couple reasons...

1) transmission; wide ratio transmission means you can stunt this bike without gearing changes, and still hit the highway and reach 75mph+ no problem... -1 in the front is more than enough for extra parking lot torque, though it can circle bone stock no problem. Their is no other supermoto bike with a wider transmission than the WR250X, to my knowledge.

2) Fuel injected. You can ride on the back wheel all day long, and it will never stall or die.

3) price is right, stunt parts are readily available
