Good Sumo for commuting and lot riding?

From what i've found its between a drz and wr.

Budget is $3250 at the moment, can always get a little more cash if i need it, but looking for a bike i can hit the highway with and still take to the lot for circles.

Wr250x all day long. I have 14k miles of stunt street dirt on mine and its been completely bulletproof nothing but oil changes tires and brake pads!

250 just doesnt have the power for fun man. its a great and fun bike but the shit has to get boring after a while. Ive seen some miles on a drz that is for sure. they are bullet proof. The ktm 450s with the 6 speed tranny is your best bet man. not just saying it because i had one either. there is almost no supermotos that are highway worthy. just a select few. the wr250x is fine and a little more relaible then the ktms but you are going to have way more fun on the ktm for sure. the drz is kinda fast but heavy as shit for a moto but will take miles upon miles.

KTMs are junk. They can't handle mileage it's been proven already.
DRZs are dinosaur carb garbage and look like dogshit. A corked out WR is the TRUTH.

WR250X/R all day. Just got a 2013 R, myself. Probably the funnest bike I now own.....and I have a few. Feels like a mountain bike with a nice motor. It's no power monger, but it doesn't have a problem ripping 75 down the freeway, either!

Yep.....having a full RSC exhaust fabricated in about 2 weeks. Breaking her in first, so it can be Dyno'd.
