you dont need to block up anything at all, just put one side on and the bolts in loosely then do the other side. even if you pulled all bolts out for cage mount your motor isnt movin there more bolts in it than what you need to remove and change.you have to drill the swingarm pivot bolt out to 3/8" so the rod will fit threw it.

after 2 hours of fighting with the swingarm pivot bolt and 2 broken drill bits, still couldnt get it. then came the carbine endmill, 4 seconds later, the cage is on
![]() risers and handle bars ready. ![]() clip ons back on so i can go for a ride, havent ridden in 2 weeks. who needs headlights, right?!

good idea on the cage drillin, that was a pain in the ass the last quarter just would not fuckin cut.

it was work hardening. Next time, use low drill RPM and lots of force pushing the drill in. Some oil or WD40 to lube it will also help a lot.

i did all that shit for multiple hours, wd40, weezle piss, cobalt dewalt bits, wasted 2 of um in process, lot of force, slow rpm, fast rpm, recharged batteries many times over, tried everything, that last 1/8" just would not go threw. it finally did after i used some other bits and ate at it lil by lil but id deff do it different next time with a bit like he used.
