Please sticky!!!!

Post all the common mods (smog elim, 3x3, etc)
Post all the stunt parts with links

Ill start with the 3x3 airbox mod, it requires a jet kit because it gives you more air to the air intake.
Below is a very good video on how to do it:

Testing these out. They should help save the water pump and other important engine cases.
Should post a little review here. But this is basically your cage for the drz.

If you drop your bike or have any mild off road plans for your drz while popping wheelies around town or through the business park near your lot. You will fall over!

Axle sliders of any kind and metal brush guards are bike savers and lever savers. Well worth it! Even while plopping the bike over on accident it saves a few bucks here and there.
Get them!

Has anyone had a chance to take a DRZ on a moto track? I was always curious to see how they would do. They feel like dogs in the trails.

As in like on the road? There is a local mountain that is known for its corners and I did a ride today, boy are they fun. They are putters in higher gears with stock sm gearing, but damn they can keep the speed through the turns nicely. They are a total blast in the twisties. I was keeping up with my sport bike friends until it got on the straights but caught back up in the corners. And let me tell you backing it in on motards is so much fun. Plus, it's always fun to pass by the wannabe wheelie masters in first gear rocking idle sit downs before entering the twisties.

I'll see if I can get pics of today's session.

I just picked up a drz a couple weeks ago, Bike is a blast to ride around town on.

I just did a full fmf exhaust with jd jet kit and the 3x3 air box mod and it really brings the bike alive. I still have fine tuning to do but man what a difference. I want to regear it but not sure were to start. I haven't read much on gearing them yet.

Steering stabilizer is a good investment.

Over 90 the front end gets too light to ride comfortably so if you gear it a lil you should be good but the top end will be pushing it on the freeway. So unless you want it as a lot bike and around town then don't gear it lol. I mean you can do a few up in the rear and ride the freeway but it won't be as good as stock. I rock idle in the lot on stock !

If you have geared it. Feel free to chime in on top speed and such as well as lot use.

Thread i found on gearing :
