Curious as to how people run their front and rear suspension. Hard or soft and why? Curious if its better to have it set up like a normal street bike should be by weight or what. I know shit of suspension and want to redo mine.

For stoppies I was advised you want fast compression with as much travel as possible and slow rebound... Full hard is defiantly not the way to go..

slow rebound up front for sure, fast compression would mean stiff setting in other words which gives you as much travel as possible but ur right not full out tight with everything. rear i always ran stiff for less bounce but still be able to bounce when i wanted to

Good info on the front end. I just started getting my bounce on with hopping frogger to spreader, wondering if it would hurt or benefit me tightening the rear end though to get more air to tuck to high chair and such

you may not need to tighten it but backoff the rebound just a click or 2 n try it maybe the compression is fine you may just want it to snap back a hair quicker, its something youll have to play with. i dont have the lot jumpin experience so idk i was always more street combos n bouncin on the seat is hard if its to tight but ya dont want it to bounce ya all over the place either in either instance

What is everyone doing about the shit ass f4i rear shocks? I did a rr tail mod and ended up cutting and raising the sub so that solved saggy ass, but is seems like they all r soft as hell! Mine is all the way as hard as it goes and was un molested un stunted 7k original mi. and it even is soft????? My 636 is stiff as mf had d em right next to each other comparing, does f4i just have really light oil??? Or is it common to swap em out for somthing else?

I run the rear shock on almost as hard and tight as possible. If not The suspension sucks in under hard braking in a wheelie and fucks me up. But this setting also made it so I couldn't bunny hop as high.
