last night im puttin the side covers back on the engine, i get to the last cover get all bolts in loosely tightened, criss cross pattern with the torque wrench get to the very last bolt and the fucker strips before the torque wrench clicks, FML! hopefully i can fit a bolt about 1/4" longer in there and snug it up good, its just the rotor cover so should be ok but deff not what i wanted to happen. my torque wrench is brand new and i even bought one for inch lbs for doing lower ft. lb. torques. i find that bigger torque wrenches dont like to click on very low torques so figured the inch lbs. set at 1.5 would be good cuz its only like 8.7ft lbs. worked great for the other 20 bolts lol

were the rims powdercoated as well? if the rims werent tapped off where the rotors sit on them ya coulda had powder causing them to sit differently.
